About Us
Expert Weed Solutions Ltd is a small family run business, based in the heart of Charnwood, in the County of Leicestershire. We undertake all aspects of work connected to the control of all unwanted invasive weeds, for both domestic properties and commercial clients. This includes the application of herbicides, spraying smaller areas with a knapsack and handheld lance, to spraying large areas with the use of an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) or tractor and boom sprayer.
We offer a complete service for the identification and clearance of Invasive Non Native Species (INNS), as listed on Schedule 9 of the Wildlife and Countryside act 1981.
We also offer general spraying & clearance of domestic gardens, as well as any mowing, hedge cutting, weeding and general garden maintenance that is required.
Our staff members on the ground are all DBS checked, and we hold a waste carriers license, allowing us to remove any green waste (at a charge) where required.
Invasive Weed Management
With a fully qualified Property Care Association (PCA) Certified Surveyor of Japanese Knotweed (CSJK), we are able to offer a complete invasive weed management service. This includes a full survey of your property, and surrounding grounds, to identify any invasive species which may be present, including Japanese Knotweed, Himalayan Balsam and Giant Hogweed. Along with the survey we also offer a full & detailed written management plan, showing recommendations for treatment and a detailed timeline with an estimated length of time the treatment will take, and a guide to the total cost involved.
Invasive Weed Specialist Treatments
- Knapsack Spraying by a City & Guilds PA1 & PA6 qualified Staff member.
- Stem Injection Service. For the more difficult to remove plants.
- Selected hand picking of certain Invasive species such as Himalayan Balsam before flowering occurs.
Domestic Spraying & Maintenance
With our fully qualified spray operatives holding both the PA1 & PA6 City & Guilds spray qualifications, we are able to offer a full range of weed spraying options for domestic properties. This is extremely useful for those with crazy paving, pebble driveways, slabs etc, and can save a lot of time and effort hand weeding, what can turn out to be very large areas. Along with this we also offer a full maintenance service for domestic properties, from grass mowing and hedge cutting, to the hand weeding of flower beds and borders.
